So, a week and a half have passed since the release of the new version of the game, which means only one thing - the time of the release of WN. And... It will bring a huge amount of news, and not the most pleasant. The main agenda of everything is geopolitics. We already wrote about this on Discord, wrote about what could change in our policy and development in general, and our worst fears were confirmed - PayPal, the only way to withdraw money from Patreon and Itch, simply left the territory of our place of residence. This means the complete end of our funding at the root for an indefinite time. Roughly speaking, we will be left without any means of subsistence. At first sight.

We were preparing for many things in the geopolitical arena and, as we mentioned previously, were left without the main sources of income for an indefinite time, but everything is not so bad: we have enough money for an autonomous existence for at least six months due to accumulated reserves that we have been preparing for possible periods of this magnitude. In addition, diversification of assets will be carried out: all money will be withdrawn not only from abroad. You can interpret our words as you like, but in general, we single our one thesis: Patreon and itch will continue to function from our side in full, nothing will change for you, except for our inability to fulfill the promises made on Patreon for the number of dollars on this service. Again, temporarily. We do not know how long it will take for everything to normalize, but it will not last longer than a few months. What is happening is not a reason for unsubscribing, unrest, or something like that: again, we were preparing for different life situations, and these are all just temporary difficulties that will soon be overcome. All your donations from Patreon and Itch will be received by us after PayPal starts functioning again in Russia, so all your money will be received in full, but with a delay. Now, there is another main idea of the text: if you are a Russian or a resident of another CIS country or, perhaps, a resident of another countries, ready to try a new platform, then switch to an analog Patreon platform. This will be the only diversification asset currently that will help us get through this moment. The situation with the content made during this time is quite complicated. We have people working from the territory of Ukraine, and right now, as we understand, they cannot work properly on the game. All the lost "man-hours" were dumped on one person, who had previously been involved in 80 percent of the game. Nevertheless, even with this in mind, we have done quite a lot: most of the innovations have strengthened the existing base of the game, made it stronger and more interesting, but the list of innovations and changes, which will be just below the vote, will tell you best about this.

P.S. We are not going to give up development even if our funding is completely cut off, so the question of closing the development is not even worth it. However, your support can increase the speed of development and make sure that the geopolitical situation does not affect us as much as it is now.

List of changes: 

Innovations: 

— Randomized female and male NPCs have new types of faces, eyes, noses, and in general, their faces will now be strikingly different from each other. This will create a significant variation in the overall selection of the available randomized NPCs: some will be more Asian in appearance, others European, and others completely Mestizo. 

— Now, in the editor of randomized NPCs, the selected character can also change the gender. In addition, male randomized NPCs now appear in the list with NPCs, which can be edited to your liking. The new face settings are also relevant for the editor: both genders have this feature. 

— Now, after a successful leveling, a notification will appear prompting you to proceed to the selection of available perks. 

— Randomized male NPCs got a new haircut, as well as a refinement of the old one: now instead of one color, twelve colors are made for each of them. In addition, three-length parameters are also made, as already are for female randomized NPCs. 

— Random events have been added to dates with randomized female NPCs, the outcome of which depends on the success of the ongoing date itself, as well as on the performance of your attributes. 

— Two new perks have been added to the per-level selection menu that are responsible for different game mechanics. In addition, a scrollbar has been added to the list. 

— A new event has been added to work in the grocery store. In addition, notifications about increasing/decreasing reputation have been added to the available new events, and also, in general, some shortcomings regarding this part of the game have been fixed. 

— The solo activity in the Occult Club has been reworked: now the restrictions work adequately, the success of this very club activity depends on your attributes and perks, and it also had many fixes that will allow it to more successfully integrate into the gameplay. 

— For male randomized NPCs, four types of penises were drawn: each of them differs in size and shape. In addition, new underwear was also drawn for male randomized NPCs. 

— Randomized male NPCs in the locker room now have their dress level calculated, just like female randomized NPCs in the female locker room. In addition, the same is now calculated on the beach: male randomized NPCs can also walk in swimwear. 

— Glasses that can see through clothes can now see through the clothes of male randomized NPCs. 

— The system for generating and creating sprites for randomized NPCs has been redesigned: now, before appearing on the screen, the sprite will be checked for data loss to fix possible exceptions. Regarding updates and/or anything else, when opening the menu for interacting with them, new data will be added to the miscalculations. The corrections will allow even more painless integration of innovations related to the external data of the RNPS. In addition, the sprite display system itself has undergone some changes: layers that overlap each other have become a little more obvious, the layers themselves have become much larger due to the addition of new details, and the sprites themselves are gradually losing rare seam problems that arise due to incorrect positions on the screen of a particular body part. 

— Changed the methods of generating randomized NPCs at the beginning of the game: now the load is evenly distributed throughout the entire game session, which is why the game gains a little in performance. Extra features, vestiges of older versions, have been cut. The game code has become a little cleaner and more understandable. 

Fixed bugs: 

— Fixed a bug where a randomized female NPC could not spawn at the very beginning of the game with 14 eye colors. 

— Fixed descriptions that were inaccurate in describing how perks work in the level up menu. 

— Fixed bugs where old randomized male NPC sprites could show up in some events/interactions etc. 

— Fixed a bug where randomized female NPCs actually had different clothes/underwear when viewed with glasses that see through clothes. 

— Fixed a bug where an exception was thrown when the alarm was set when playing in the English translation of the game. 

— Fixed a bug where the "Love for Soda" stat was incorrectly displayed in the Randomized NPC bio menu. 

— Fixed typos that could previously be seen during the storyline with Ayano Yoshida. Also, fixed a bug where a small part of the dialogue with randomized NPCs was not translated into English. 

— Fixed a bug where an exception was thrown related to the "skills_programme" variable in the English translation of the game. Now when learning programming and freelancing on the player's PC, it will not exit. 

— Fixed a bug that could result in an exception in the occult club management menu. 

— Fixed bugs in the work of some perks available for leveling up, as well as in the work of some items that can be bought in the online store on a PC player.

That's... a lot. I can imagine that the group chat with you and your Ukrainian devs is a little awkward. Hopefully this situation resolves itself soon.
