Weekly News #131


So, dear friends, it's time for weekly news. As usual, after a week and a half, we talk about what was done in this short period of time and report. And, perhaps, without further ado, we begin.

First, randomized NPCs. This point is quite important and, as usual, we paid a huge amount of attention to them. The first thing worth noting is that we have almost completely completed the customization of the bodies of randomized NPCs: now any changes are displayed in the scenes with them. The shape of the calf muscles, the shape of the face, a huge amount of work was done to ensure that each newly added detail was displayed in the appropriate scenes. Accordingly, now you can enjoy these scenes properly, seeing in front of you the RNPC with whom you communicated. This, in addition to the shape of body parts, also includes the shape of the face - this is now also displayed properly. You can see more detailed details of the work done on our Twitter (18+ scene), but now we will attach what we can attach according to the platform rules:




In addition, we made 8 new nose shapes, as well as 8 new eye shapes for randomized female NPCs. Each of them is automatically generated on the RNPS at the start of a gaming session, and is also available in the corresponding editors. Together with automatically generating bodies that differ from each other, this will significantly increase the differences between randomized NPCs from each other. In principle, you can see some of the new shapes of eyes and noses below:







So what's next? We understand that randomized NPCs need significant development. Not only systematic, but also purely “external”. At the moment, we have increased the total staff of people involved in events with randomized NPCs. Well, as for external changes, we are currently working on five new hairstyles for randomized female NPCs. And yes, when we say this, we mean that they will be displayed properly in all scenes. This will significantly increase the overall variety of RNPCs, and more development of their “character” will only improve the overall feel for them. And yes, we understand that as the pace of game development increases, more bugs will appear, so we have also hired more testers who will ensure the stability of the game at release. There may be some changes in terms of the release of the versions themselves, which will make it seem like we are doing less work, but in general and in general it will be the way it will be - recently we have greatly increased the stability of the released versions of the game, starting with 0.950 b version.


Secondly, the plot. Oddly enough, certain changes appeared here too. We changed some of the flow of the storyline with Ayano Yoshida, which is why it is now more developed, and also, in general, slightly improved some of the choices/interactions with her with new options for the development of events. These are minor changes, but pleasant ones, especially after ignoring the plot from this side for a long time. In general, work in this direction is underway, especially for Suzuki Matsui, especially for whom a new background was created, which will be used in the near future. You can see it just below:




Thirdly, the game system files and their optimization. We will try to be brief here. We have reduced the overall weight of the game by 600 megabytes. Especially for this purpose, significant work was carried out to systematize existing files, optimize existing and necessary files, as well as delete old and rudimentary files. This huge work was done on purpose. The game engine is simply not designed for games that weigh a bunch of gigabytes, and we understand that. This was done specifically to further develop the game, improve its stability, speed up loading and reduce the load on systems. This is especially true for Android - the most problematic system for game development. Accordingly, our goal will be to reduce the overall weight of the game to 1 gigabyte, but for now this is just a goal and we don't want the overall quality of the content to suffer because of this. However, now you understand that we have focused much more closely on the stability of the game and its performance. We are trying to make it as stable and enjoyable a game as possible, and we will continue to work on this.


Fourthly, bugs and errors have been fixed. Here we also did a lot of work, but we will tell you about this in the list of changes for version 0.950a:




New content:

The weight of the game has been significantly reduced: the game now weighs 600 megabytes less. This result is achieved by removing some rudimentary files, compressing files with a large weight, and also converting some files from png format to jpeg.

Loading on Android devices has been significantly accelerated: the game now loads faster and also runs a little more stable during startup, which is why there are fewer crashes at this point.

Added 8 different nose shapes for randomized female NPCs, which are both generated at the beginning of the game session and available for selection in the corresponding editors of your character/RNPC.

The plot with the character Ayano Yoshida was slightly adjusted and slightly expanded with some interactions and new information/dependencies.

The generation of body types for randomized NPCs has been improved: now, in addition to the generation of leg/calf muscle types and some other settings, the shape of the waist and arms is also generated. Additionally, the appearance generator itself has been greatly improved compared to how it worked before, and it generates more individual RNPCs.

A minor refactoring of the code was carried out, which concerns the function of distributing RNPS across locations: there are fewer rudimentary sections in it, the code itself began to work a little faster.

A significant refactoring of the systems responsible for displaying and initializing sprites was carried out: now it works much more stable, better, and also more functional. The system itself now has a more modular structure, which makes it also more modifiable.

Now in the RNPS/your character editor, the "Nipple Piercing" function is displayed as a function that is not displayed on the sprite, so as not to confuse the player.

New types of face, waist, hips and calf muscles have been added to the 18+ scene with randomized female NPCs of the “Rowgirl” position, which is why, in case of changed settings data types in the RNPS editor/during generation, it will be displayed in this scene, how to. Especially for this purpose, the stockings for the scene were redrawn in all possible variations so that it would look as it should.

The "Enter" button has been removed from the online bank on your character's computer, which for some reason did not have any function.

The stability of game servers has been improved: they now work much faster, with fewer connection errors/technical work.

New types of hips, face, waist and arms have been added to the 18+ character scene with randomized female NPCs pose "69", which is why, in case of changing the type of the above settings in the RNPС editor/during generation, it will be displayed in this scene, how to.

New face types have been added to the kiss scene with randomized female NPCs, which means that if the face type is changed in the RNPC editor, it will appear in that scene.

Even some sets of clothes and stockings were redrawn especially for this to make it look as it should.

New face types, as well as hand shapes, have been added to the petting scene of your character by a randomized female NPC, which is why, in the case of a changed face type/hand shape in the RNPC editor, it will be displayed in this scene.

New hip types have been added to the scene of a randomized female NPC using a toilet stall, which is why, if the hip type is changed in the RNPS editor/during generation, it will be displayed in this scene. Especially for this, even some sets of clothes and underwear were redrawn to make it look as it should.

New types of hips/arms/waist/face shape have been added to the 18+ character scene in the "Doggystyle" pose with randomized female NPCs, which is why, in case of changing the type of all these parameters in the RNPS editor/during generation, it will be appear in this scene as it should.

Bonuses for perks/reasons for transferring to the academy have been changed and updated to suit the current realities of the game. Additionally, their bonuses, if attribute related, can now go beyond the attribute min/max, making their choices more useful and more meaningful early in gameplay.

The number of attributes that are given by the secret amulet has been changed: now this quantity has been personalized specifically for the current game conditions. Additionally, the attributes provided by this amulet may exceed the available attribute minimum/maximum.

The amount of money received for working in a grocery store has been edited. Now it is issued using more understandable algorithms. In addition, the amount given as a bonus was edited. Now this is not fabulous money, even exceeding your salary, but a more understandable amount given based on your character’s existing salary.

Now, when your character finishes a job and receives a bonus, the game announces this, instead of silently giving out a certain amount of money.

Added a cheat code to the Patreon subscriber console that allows your character to increase/decrease the amount of reputation in the grocery store.

The position of the buttons responsible for the Patreon code in your character’s room has been changed: now the prompt to enter the Patreon code does not appear if the Patreon code has already been entered, and if it is entered, the link to the Patreon account fades into the background, without clogging up the console with cheats.

The small first aid kit now heals your character's limbs as it should without any problems. Previously it was a rudimentary part of the game, now it works as it should work. l self-immune with poor sleep patterns.

Now the form for accepting your character into the occult club is valid one-time - if your character is not in the academy locations, you will not need to click it several times. Your character immediately joins the occult club.

Fixed bugs:

Fixed a bug due to which some certain cheat codes entered into the Patreon code field could transfer the subscriber's Patreon to the console, which they were not supposed to do.

Fixed a bug due to which in some individual situations there could be problems with connecting and receiving Patreon subscriber privileges.

Fixed a bug due to which some old content was unavailable on new versions of the game.

Fixed a bug due to which your character could be considered naked if he was wearing the "Monk" costume, which was worn at the very beginning of the game.

Fixed a bug due to which the salary in the grocery store was calculated incorrectly, which could result in an exception if you had a certain rank in the store, or a completely incorrect and significant amount of money was given out.

Fixed a bug due to which the form for joining the Occult Club could not be turned in even in some academy locations, which should not have been the case.

Fixed a bug where an event with Azumi Yoshida could happen when Suzuki Matsui was living in your apartment, which logically looked a little strange.

Fixed a bug where an event with Azumi Yoshida could cause an exception that would make it impossible to continue the game - anyone staying in your character's room would cause an exception at certain points.

Fixed a bug due to which it was possible to abuse your character's attributes, as well as some other statistics, using the mechanics of fights with randomized NPCs and the "shave his head" interaction.

Fixed an issue where the Club Room Cleanliness value could be a fractional value rather than an integer value, which it shouldn't have been.

Fixed a bug that could cause an exception to be thrown if randomized NPCs were added to a game session - now everything works as it should, regardless of any additions/removals of randomized NPCs.

Fixed a bug due to which the "Character Stuck" function could break saves, transferring your character literally in every save to the location of your character's apartment, sometimes causing exceptions.

Fixed a bug due to which the attributes of your character in the character editor, when they were changed, could differ from what is ultimately obtained in the game session itself. Now everything works as it should.

Fixed a bug due to which randomized NPCs could have an activity that was not initially intended by the location, which is why they could inspect the goods in the academy classroom and/or do something else.

Fixed an issue where the names of outfits could be several tens of pixels to the right than they should have been initially in the editor of your character/randomized NPCs in the “Clothing” category.

Fixed a bug where changing the shape of your hands in your character/RNPC editor would change absolutely nothing. Now everything works as it should.

Fixed a bug due to which moving the mouse/finger cursor across the screen in the occult club management interface could lead to a significant increase in the level of popularity/readiness of the project, even if the player did not ultimately want such a result.

Fixed a bug due to which in the toilet location, randomized female NPCs did not have the “Sits in the toilet stall” activity, which is why one of the scenes displayed during this interaction completely disappeared from the game.

Fixed an issue due to which a randomized female NPC in the 18+ Doggystyle pose scene had a shadow on the shoulder that should not have been there at all.

Fixed a bug due to which the 18+ Doggystyle scene did not work properly in the new interface for sexual intercourse with randomized NPCs.

Fixed a bug due to which, in the 18+ character scene of the “Doggystyle” pose, it was impossible to put stockings on a randomized NPC using the corresponding button. She simply blocked this opportunity, although she shouldn’t have.

Fixed a bug due to which in the event with Yuki Oota the characters could be mixed up and the text could be mixed up. Now everything is as it should be.

Fixed an issue due to which the “Doggystyle” position in the interface for sexual contact with randomized NPCs was repeated in the list of available positions.

Fixed a bug due to which, in the 18+ scene with randomized female NPCs in the “Side” pose with stockings/socks on, the shadow on them could be shown incorrectly, creating a not the best picture.

Fixed a bug whereby the chest groping scene of a randomized female NPC could cause exceptions at certain points in gameplay.

Fixed a bug due to which a randomized female NPC could have the whites of their eyes colored if they had a non-standard skin color, and also played the "Petting you" scene.

Fixed a bug due to which a randomized female NPC could have the whites of their eyes colored if they had a non-standard skin color, and the "cowgirl" scene was also played.

Fixed a bug due to which in the 18+ scene in the “Side” position, the sprite of a randomized female NPC did not display his nose.

Fixed a bug due to which an exception could occur during playback of a kissing scene with a randomized female NPC if he had a second basic hairstyle of the first or second length.

Fixed a bug due to which the event with an exhibitionist in the park could work incorrectly, due to which she had all her clothes on, although she should not have.

Fixed a bug that could cause an exception to occur when playing some events where randomized NPCs are automatically generated.

Fixed a bug that caused an exception to occur when selecting a conversation about erotica with Suzuki Matsui while you were cohabiting with her.

Fixed an issue due to which a randomized NPC could permanently remain in his apartment without leaving it, even without the corresponding character trait.

Fixed a bug due to which, when using the "Masturbation" location interaction in the gym location at the academy, there was absolutely no background.

Fixed a bug whereby having sex with Suzuki Matsui from the cohabitation interaction menu would cause exceptions that prevented the option from being selected at all.

Fixed a bug where playing some events with randomized NPCs would cause an exception.

Fixed a bug due to which the installation of the game's apk file could generate an error in some individual situations.




As you can see, we have not slowed down the pace of development, and we will try to increase it further. Of course, the content is not as much as it could be, but the bulk of the added content is being tested and, when we are convinced of their stability, we will fully add these systems. Well, now all that can be done is wait. Wait for the next weekly news, which will be released on February 15th and will definitely be more pleasant for the potential player. There should be a lot more content coming out then.
